After throwing a lot of stuff into the altar, I'm really wondering: WTF should be happening here? So far the only thing I did receive was a bit of cooked meat :x

To be honest: I'm really missing some sort of "feedback" here. How much horns/... must I throw into the altar? It's quite depressing when you loose a lot of valuables through this and still didn't understand what it's supposed to do... :evil:

Neither google nor the wiki brings up anything usefull.

Yes, I agree that the game has to give hints.

I believe the developers expect players to tinker around and test a lot of stuff. But, unfortunately, I don't think that's how it'll work very often.
The feedback could be done in a way such that it's not just a long table to item trades. But for a start, you should only be allowed to throw something in if you have a valid combination with that item.

Yes, we changed the altar to allow to recover lost party members now. :)
